LPG Conversion to RX300 (UK)

I am considering a professional LPG conversion for my 2001 RX300. Has anyone
else had it done? Have you noticed any difference in performance? Does it
affect the warranty? Does £2000 inc VAT sound reasonable?

All help appreciated

Leatherique vs Armor-All Leather cleaner/protectant

I just bought a new car with leather and I want to keep the leather
looking, smelling and feeling new for as long as possible. I keep
hearing great things about Leatherique. But I prefer the fact that
Armor-all leather cleaner comes in a spray bottle to speed
application. Since the leather is new I am not looking for a restorer,
more of a cleaner, conditioner, protector. If anyone of you have used
one or both products, I would appreciate some advice. Thanks

IS300 Suede Leather?

Is it just me or does anyone else not like the suede door for the leather
option?

wonder how it’ll last in the rain…thats probably the one spot on the car
interior that gets wet most often

wish there really was an all leather option…

ES300 Computer

My "check engine" light is stuck ON. I accidentally pulled out a fuse
that caused the problem. I would like to know if there is a way to
reset the on-board computer to resolve this problem with out cost to
me?

Thanks,

JG

Toyota to recall 600,000 Sienna minivans

Yeah, another Toyota recall.

"Toyota said today it was recalling 600,000 Sienna minivans to inspect
for rust in the cable that holds the spare tire, adding to the more
than 6 million vehicles already under recall by the automaker this
year.

Toyota said it does not yet have a fix for the problem, which is
likely confined to 20 cold-weather states, including Michigan, which
use road salt in winter. Owners in other states can have their vans
inspected for the problem.

Toyota Doesn't Know How to Fix GX460's Stability Control Yet

"The Japanese automaker also said it had been able to duplicate a flaw
in the skid control system on new Lexus GX 460 sport utility vehicles,
but said it had not yet settled on exactly how to fix the problem.

The automaker stopped selling the Lexus GX460, a SUV sold by Toyota’s
luxury brand, earlier this week after Consumer Reports deemed the
truck unsafe to drive because its skid controls allowed the vehicle to
veer to the side before regaining control in certain maneuvers.

NHTSA chief says Toyota was 'not truthful'

Washington — Toyota Motor Corp. was "not truthful" with federal
regulators looking into sticky brake pedals, the nation’s top safety
official said Friday.

That lack of candor, said National Highway Traffic Safety
Administrator David Strickland, contributed to the largest auto safety
fine ever proposed by the government.

In his first extended interview since taking over NHTSA Jan. 4,
Strickland also criticized Toyota for failing to disclose a software
upgrade on the 2010 Prius, and for taking "shortcuts" in its rapid
growth.

Report: Toyota confirms Lexus GX handling issue, hoping to isolate issue soon

Toyota engineers in Japan have apparently replicated the lift-throttle oversteer problem recently found by Consumer Reports on the new 2010 Lexus GX460 and are working on a fix. Toyota spokesman Bill Kwong has confirmed the existence of the handling problem to The New York Times. According to the NYT, as soon as CR discovered the problem, they contacted Toyota and worked with the automaker to make sure it understood the organization’s test conditions. The engineers in Japan are currently trying …
