Just installed a tow hitch on a 2000 RX300 4WD w/LCD display. Can
anyone tell me where/how does one connect a light wiring harness to
operate the trailer brake and turn signals? I understand that tapping
into the tailight wires is not recommended as changes in resistance
will play havoc with fancy electronics on the RX. I assume there is a
place to plug in a harness since a tow hitch is a dealer option.
Where is that place? Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA

I spliced into the wiring harness on my 99′ and haven’t had any troubles.
