It is clean, has all the service records, no tears in the leather, paint is good and no rust. This being the first Model year, is it a stable auto? What can I expect to fix with that many miles on it? The only down side is the aspect of driving a vehicle with Rear Wheel Drive! I was under the assumption that LEXUS was a Front Wheel Drive.
I have a ’91 model with that many miles and it is still going very
strong. I have no intention of selling it until I absolutely have to.
The way it still drives, I hope that will be a long time away.
The only Lexus I know that is front wheel drive is the ES300. Basically an
expensive Camry. All the others are RWD as far as I know (except 4wd in the
RX300 and LX470).

The ls400 is a good car, earlier ones do have problems once in a while,
look out for air-con and breaks. if you get a good one you will be
pleased. As for rear wheel drive, no problem, its fine for such a large
car.
